We have noted in our order dated 18.3.2011 that from the earlier order p assed by this Court on 24.9.2008, it appears that Shri Gagen Bora, Dr.Husan Ulla h, Shri Trailakya Nath Konwar and Anadar Doley were also being investigated in respect of the illegal appointment of teachers. Since it was not clear what acti on had been taken against the four persons mentioned above, a direction was give n to the State to file an affidavit stating the full facts and whether any other investigations are going on against the four persons mentioned above. An affidavit dated 29.3.2011 has been filed by Shri Arabinda Kalita, Sup erintendent of Police , Dibrugarh. It is stated in the affidavit that the names of Shri Gagen Bora, and Shri Anadar Doley (out of aforesaid four persons) had come up in connection with some investigation carried out in Dhemaji Distri ct. It is stated that they have no connection with the case under investigation Public Interest Litigati which is the subject matter of the present on. It is also stated that Dr.Husan Ullah and Trailokya Nath are dead. Under the circumstances, no further order is required to be passed in th e Public Interest Litigation. It is accordingly closed It is expected that respondents would take appropriate steps to ensure t hat the charge sheet filed against the accused persons reaches its logical concl usion.
