K.J.THOMAS STANLEY (RETIRED ADDL. DISTRICT JUDGE) ------------------------------------------------------------- M.A.C.A. NO: 1393 OF 2005 ------------------------------------------------------------- Dated this the 9th April, 2008. A W A R D We have discussed the matter with the parties and their Advocates. The officers of the Insurance Company also are present. It has been agreed that an additional amount of Rs.35,000/- (Rupees thirty five thousand only) over and above what has been already awarded should be paid to the appellant by the third respondent in full and final settlement of all the claims of the appellant. The amount will be deposited within sixty days from the date of receipt of a copy of the award failing which the amount will carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum from the date of default till payment.
