DISTRICT JUDGE) ------------------------------------------------------------- M.A.C.A.NO: 79 OF 2004 ------------------------------------------------------------- Dated this the 18th March, 2008. A W A R D Heard both sides. We have discussed in detail. The insurance company has agreed, taking into account of the physical condition of the appellant who has appeared in person to enhance the compensation and pay an additional amount of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only). This amount will be paid within sixty days from the date of receipt of a copy of the award. The award of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal, Neyyattinkara stands modified to the extent indicated above. It is also agreed that if the third respondent fails to pay the amount within the stipulated time, it will carry interest at the rate of 9% per annum MACA 79/04 -2- from the date of default till payment.
