This application is filed for withdrawal of the amount deposited in the Court towards the Award passed by the Railway Claims Tribunal. The Tribunal has awarded Rs.2,80,000/- towards compensation and has further directed that out of Rs.2,80,000/-, a sum of Rs.80,000/- be paid to the present respondent and rest amount is directed to be deposited in the nationalised bank. The appeal has been admitted. The learned counsel for the appellant submits that in the circumstances, it would not be proper to pay the entire amount to the respondent. In the circumstances, it is directed that a sum of Rs.80,000/- be paid to the respondent. Rest of the 2 amount be deposited in a nationalized bank for a period of five years initially and the same may be renewed from time to time during the pendency of the appeal. The respondent may be paid the interest on the amount deposited with the nationalized bank, for every quarter. The Civil Application is allowed in the
