1.(cid:9)This matter arises from the Urban Land (Ceiling & Regulation) Act, 1976. This matter was admitted on
13.6.1994 and the operation of the impugned order of the State Government was stayed. From the facts of this case, order of this court aforesaid and coupled with the facts that reply to this Special Civil Application has not been filed by the respondents, nor the learned counsel for the respondents made a statement that the possession of the disputed land has been taken by the respondents, the possession is to be taken with the petitioner and as a result of which this Special Civil Application abates and accordingly the same is dismissed as having become abated under the provisions of the Urban Land (Ceiling & Regulation) Repeal Act, 1999. Rule discharged. Interim relief, if any, granted stands vacated. No order as to costs.
