ntiralga LP School and this has been done as per instruction of the local MLA. Recording the aforesaid submission, it is observed that such an action is not pe rmissible under the law. The authority i.e. the Deputy Inspector of Schools is not permitted by the policy framed by the Government to cause such transfer in t he matter of LP/ME school teachers. Accordingly, the impugned transfer order dated 16/2/2010 has no legs to stand an d the same is set aside and quashed. The petitioner is allowed to continue in the present place of posting. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
