Heard Mr. R. Baruah, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P. Roy, learned Additional Govt. Advocate, Assam for the official respondents. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner executed certain works vi de Work Order (Annexure-A to the writ petition) for protection of Meghuwar Chuk and adjoining areas from erosion of river Subansiri. On account of such work, th e petitioner is entitled to get Rs.1,67,188/- as outstanding dues. It is admitted at the Bar that such payment of the contractors bill and the mann er and method to be dealt with in such case has been decided by a Full Bench of this Court in W.A.No.848/2008 (Tamsher Ali and Others -vs- State of Assam and ot hers) and similar other 194 writ petitions vide Judgment and Order dated 29/9/20 08. The issue involved in this instant case is squarely covered by the aforesai d decision. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction that th e petitioner as well as the respondent authorities shall be bound by the princip les of law and directions so rendered by the Full Bench of this Court in the afo rementioned cases and the respondent authorities shall deal with the grievance o f the petitioner as per the directions referred to above and pay the amount to t he petitioner to which he is found to be entitled. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
