Accordingly it is directed that this writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the respondent No. 2, the Chairman, Municipality Board and ot her officers responsible for the purpose shall forthwith refund the amount of Rs . 20,000/-depostited by the petitioner along with interest at the rate of 6%. If the said amount is not paid within a period of 2 weeks with interest from the d ate of receipt of the copy of the order, the rate of interest would be calculate d at the rate of 12%. With the above directions, this writ petition stands allowed.
