JUSTICE V.N. SINHA HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SHIVAJI PANDEY ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE V.N. SINHA) 4 13-08-2014 I.A.No.255 of 2014: Heard learned counsel for the appellant and the State. It is submitted on behalf of the appellant that his earlier prayer for suspension of sentence, grant of bail was rejected, as the appellant has been found to be the assailant of the deceased. It is submitted that in view of contradictions in the evidence of prosecution witnesses, there is fair chance of success of the appeal but the appeal having been filed in the year 2012, in regular course, is not likely to be taken up in near future. In appreciation of such facts, request has been renewed as the Patna High Court CWJC No.1017 of 2012 (4) dt.13-08-2014 appellant has remained in custody for more than seven years i.e. since 20th February 2007. During the pendency of this appeal, let the sentence imposed on the appellant Raj Bali Singh be suspended and he be released on bail on furnishing bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the trial court, i.e. Ad hoc Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jehanabad in Sessions Trial No. 274 of 2007/24 of 2010.
