A.G., Haryana has been asked to accept notice on behalf of respondents-State. Keeping in view the nature of relief claimed and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, this petition is being disposed of at the motion stage itself. The petitioner was engaged as a Guest Teacher for primary classes on the basis of selection made by a Selection Committee on
15.9.2008. It is stated that no appointment letter was issued to the petitioner, however, petitioner was performing the duties of teacher and teaching 4th standard. He marked his attendance in the register maintained for the purpose. Petitioner was engaged on payment of Rs. 295/- per working day. The monthly amount of wages has been revised for JBT teachers to Rs. 10,000/- w.e.f. April, 2009. It is stated that the petitioner has not been paid any salary with effect from the date of his engagement i.e.

15.9.2008. Petitioner has also made certain allegations against respondent no.5, who is alleged to be demanding 40% cut from the petitioner. CWP. No. 3517 of 2010 -2- Be that as it may. The petitioner has served legal notice (Annexure P-6) but respondents have not taken any decision thereon. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if, respondents are directed to take decision on the legal notice served by the petitioner. In view of the above, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent no.3 to take decision on the legal notice served by the petitioner within a period of two months from the date certified copy of this order is served upon the competent authority. Needless to say that in the event the claim of the petitioner is to be rejected, the same shall be by a reasoned and speaking order.
