Rupachandra, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr. S. Neploean, learned GA appearing for the respondents. It has been submitted by the learned GA that the order of this court has been complied with by the respondents by issuing an order dated 02-05-2023 and a copy of the same has been placed before this court. The learned GA further submitted that as the order of this court has been complied with, the present contempt case can be closed. Mr. S. Rupachandra, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that as the petitioners are not satisfied with the order issued by the respondents alleging compliance of the order given by this court, they may be given liberty to challenge the same. In view of the submission made above, this court is of the considered view that the contempt case cannot survive anymore and as such, the contempt case is hereby closed. Needless to mention here that the petitioners are at liberty to challenge the compliance order issued by the respondents. Devananda JUDGE
