JUSTICE AHANTHEM BIMOL SINGH 28-02-2024 Heard Mr. Dayali Elangbam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned GA appearing for the respondents. [2] At the outset, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied for the time being if the present writ petition is disposed of by directing the Superintendent of Police, Bishnupur, Manipur to consider the said representation dated 07- 11-2022 submitted by the petitioner and to take up appropriate action as permissible under law as expeditiously as possible. [3] Mr. Niranjan Sanasam, learned GA appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that he has no objection in disposing of the present writ petition as prayed for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. [4] In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the Superintendent of Police, Bishnupur, Manipur is hereby directed to consider the said representation dated 1 07-11-2022 submitted by the petitioner and to take up appropriate action Item No. 83 as permissible under law as expeditiously as possible. [5] Needless to mention here that while considering the said representation and before taking up any appropriate action as permissible under law, the Superintendent of Police, Bishnupur, Manipur should give a reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the wrong doers as mentioned in the said representation.
