This Miscellaneous First Appeal filed against the Judgment and Award passed by the above Tribunal having been referred to Lok Adalat on 21-04-2010 coming on for settlement before Lok Adalat 6-12-2010 in the presence of the Officers of National Insurance Co. Ltd., and the Advocate appearing for the respective parties, for the reasons stated in the conciliation order:

#1. And it is ordered and decreed that the Respondent No.2 (National Insurance Co. Ltd.,) shall pay and the Appellant shall receive a lump sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five Thousand only) which is inclusive of interest in addition to the amount awarded by the Tribunal, in full and final settlement of the claim.

#2. And it is further ordered and decreed that the Respondent No.2 shall deposit the said amount before the Tribunal, within two months from the date of receipt of the award or production of the certified copy of the award, after excluding the time taken for grant of the certified copy, failing which, the enhanced compensation shall carry interest at 6% per annum from the date of appeal to the date of payment. 3. And it is further ordered and decreed that there shall be no order as to the costs.
