1. Khatas in respect of the property which is the subject matter of the writ petition have been issued in favour of respondent Nos.10 to 12 by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP). On the ground that the said khatas have been obtained by fraud, the petitioners have represented to the BBMP to cancel the same. On the ground that no action has been taken by the BBMP on their representation, the present writ petition is filed with the following prayers:- "a) Issue a writ in the nature of certiorari or any other appropriate writ order or direction directing the respondent authorities to delete the Khata Certificates dated 09.02.024, Annexed as Annexure "A" to "A-26", issued with respect to the land in Survey No.10, Pattanagere Village, Bengaluru, pursuant to the Task Force's investigation report dated 04.03.2024, annexed hereto as Annexure "F". b) To Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction, directing the Respondents to consider the Representations dated 19.07.2025, annexed hereto as Annexure "B" to "B-6" issued by the Petitioner to respondent authorities seeking cancellation Khata Certificates based on the Task Force's investigation - 5 - NC: 2025:KHC:32866 WP No. 24727 of 2025 HC-KAR report dated 04.03.2024, annexed hereto as Annexure "F". c) Grant any such Order, Direction AND/OR any other Relief or Reliefs as this Hon'ble Court deems, fit and necessary, in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity. "
2. The learned counsel appearing for respondent Nos.2 to 9 - BBMP upon instructions submits that the petitioner is having an alternative and efficacious remedy under Section 150 of the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) Act, 2020. The learned counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to contravene the same.

3. As the petitioner is having an alternative and efficacious remedy, the writ petition is hereby dismissed reserving the liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Authority in the manner known to law.
