The petitioners have raised grounds that on account of non-filing of the written statement by the sixth defendant, there is a delay in disposal of the suit O.S. Since the sixth defendant is yet to file his written statement and the trial is yet to commence, this Court is of the considered view that a direction can be issued to the District Munsif court, Omalur to dispose of O.S. No.168 of 2025 within a period of 18 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after the sixth defendant is allowed to file the written statement and the Trial Court frames issue and after conducting trial.

Accordingly, this Court directs the District Munsif Court, Omalur to dispose of the suit O.S. No.168 of 2025, within a period of 18 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after the sixth defendant is allowed to file the written statement and the Trial Court frames issue and after conducting trial.

Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.
