Sandip Shankar Patil v. The State of Maharashtra

Criminal Application No. 4701 of 2008R P SONDURBALDOTA

Judgment

Mr. V.V. Purwant, Advocate for Applicant. Mr. H.P. Dedia, APP for respondent. Coram : SMT. R.P. SONDURBALDOTA, J. : 29th December, 2008 Date P.C.

2.

Not on board. Mentioned. On 15/11/2008, the applicant was granted temporary bail for a period of 15 days to raise money for his father's medical treatment who is suffering from cancer. As the applicant was unable to raise the required money within the time granted, he filed an application for extension of the bail period which was granted by the trial Court for 15 days. By its order dated 17th December 2008, the period was further extended by 10 days with a warning that there will be no further extension granted by the trial Court. Mr. Purwant, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant needs some more time for raising the money for 2 his father's treatment. By way of indulgence alone, the period of bail is extended by 10 days from today to enable the applicant to take care of the medical treatment of his father. The application is disposed off. It is made clear that there will be no further extension on any ground.
