Operative part
Nagandla Srinivas and another Government of A.P., rep. by its Secretary, Social Welfare (Tribal Welfare) Department, Hyderabad and others …Petitioners …Respondents Oral Order: The petitioners herein have preferred a revision to the State Government, aggrieved by the orders passed by the Agency Divisional Officer, Kothagudem in LTR Case No. 118/96/Kamepalli dated 24-7- 2001, which is confirmed in C.M.A.No. 188 of 2005 by the Additional Agent to Government, Bhadrachalam by his order dated 24-7-2001. It is therefore, appropriate that the Government should deal with the said revision as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order. However, the writ petitioners have also prayed for an interim relief pending the said revision before the Government and since no orders have been passed thereon, they have moved this writ petition. It is asserted by the petitioners that they are in possession of the land in question for the past several years, therefore, balance of convenience would lie in their favour. Till the disposal of the writ petition, status quo existing as of now with regard to possession of the disputed land shall be maintained. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to deal with the revision preferred by the writ petitioner and decide the same within a period of six months from the date of this order after putting the writ petitioner on notice of hearing. No costs. __________________________________ NOOTY RAMAMOHANA RAO, J 24th November, 2010 GRR
