COMMON JUDGMENT: (Per the Hon’ble Sri Justice N.V. Ramana) The appellants-claimants have filed these appeals against the judgment and decree dated 16.06.2004 passed by the Senior Civil Judge, Nandikotkur, in O.P.Nos.6/96, 2/99, 78/95, 31/96, 89/95, 49/96, 82/95, 127/95, 91/95, 2/96, 14/96, 90/95, 34/96, 97/95, 38/96, 50/96, 32/96, 46/96 and 3/99 respectively. Today when these appeals were taken up for hearing, it is submitted by the learned Counsel for the appellants and admitted to by the learned Assistant Government Pleader for the respondent that appeals arising out of the very same acquisition, being L.A.A.S. Nos.33 & 34 of 2006, by common judgment dated 30.12.2008, were allowed with the following directions:
Accordingly, we hold the appellants are entitled to market rate of Rs.60,000/- per acre. The appellants are also entitled for statutory benefits in terms of the amended provisions of the Land Acquisition Act. The appeals are allowed to the extent indicated above. No order as to costs.
In the circumstances, following the above judgment and for the reasons mentioned therein, these appeals are also allowed by and in terms thereof. While communicating this order, a copy of the judgment in LAAS Nos.33 & 34 of 2006, dated 30.12.2008 shall be annexed. No costs. _______________ N.V.RAMANA, J _______________ K.S.
