Cause title

For the Petitioner:MR.G.BALA RAM, Advocate For the Respondents No.1 to 3: GP FOR REVENUE, For the Respondents No.4 & 5:Mr.Vravinder Rao, Advocate For the Respondents No.6: None. The Court Made the Following :

ORDER:

This writ petition is filed questioning the order dated 1-2- 1999, passed by the 2nd respondent-Joint Collector, Ranga Reddy District. The petitioners filed an appeal Under Section 24 of the A.P. (Telangana Area) Abolition of Inams Act, 1955, before the 2nd respondent against the order passed by the 1st respondent dated 22-7-1998. Along with said appeal, they filed an application seeking stay of the order of the 1st respondent. The 2nd respondent granted Stay till 1-2-1999. However, the 2nd respondent vacated the Stay already granted, as there was no representation on behalf of the petitioners. Aggrieved by the same, this writ petition is filed. While admitting the writ petition, this Court by an order dated 3-3-1999 granted interim suspension of the order of the 1st respondent with a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the main appeal itself within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. In that view of the matter, I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners, if not already disposed of, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Pending disposal of the appeal, the interim suspension granted by this Court dated 3-3-1999 shall continue. Subject to above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 24th June, 2004.
