Ms. P. Barua, learned counsel for the respondents submit that the instan t case is squarely covered by Full Bench judgment of this Court delivered on 29/ 9/2008 in Writ Appeal No.484/2005 (Tamsher Ali and Ors vrs State of Assam and Or s) reported in 2008 (4) GLT 1 (FB) and similar other 194 writ petitions and, as such, the respondent authorities will examine the claim of the writ petitioner i n terms of the principles enunciated in Tamsher Ali and Ors (supra). Mr. P.K. Mazumdar , learned counsel for the petitioner also endorses the submissions of Ms. P. Barua. In view of the submissions and as agreed upon by the learned counsel for the appearing parties, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage , directing the Chief Engineer, Water Resources Department to examine the claim of the petitioner within a period of 30 days from today and if the claim is admi tted, the respondent authorities would process the claim of the petitioner in ac cordance with law and in the light of the directions contained in Tamsher Ali an d Ors (supra). The writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the above directions.
