Operative part

19.06.2024 ORDER Heard Mr. I. Borthakur, learned counsel for the applicant. This is an application seeking leave of this Hon’ble Court for serving notice by way of newspaper publication upon the opposite party No.1 i.e. Miss Samarjyam Kota. Mr. Borthakur submits that despite several attempts to serve notice on respondent No.4 in WP(C) No. 7580/2019, the same was not completed as the notice were received back with the postal remark “insufficient address”. He accordingly submits that he may be permitted to take service by way of newspaper publication. I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and also perused the averments made in support of the prayer made in the I.A. It appears that steps for service of notice was taken up upon the opposite party No.4/respondent No.4 in the connected writ petition, however, the same has been received back with postal remark “insufficient address”. It further appears that the petitioner has stated on oath that this is the last known address of the opposite party No.1/respondent No.4 wherein notices have been served. As such, the present application has been filed for paper publication. Page No.# 3/3 Prayer is allowed. Applicant is allowed to take service of notice by way of paper publication upon Opposite Party No.1 in her last known address. Accordingly, the Interlocutory Application stands disposed of.
