1. By way of this petition, the petitioner is seeking issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to promote him on the post of Lecturerw.e.f. 17.08.1998. .
submits that Shri Varun Sharma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner the petitioner's juniors have .been given promotion w.e.f. 17.08.1998 whereas without any rhyme or reason the petitioner has been given promotion to the post of Lecturer w.e.f. 31.07.2006. He further submits that this petition may be disposed of directing the respondent- authorities that if the petitioner files a fresh representation before them, then the same shall. be considered by the respQndent-authorities in accordance with law.
