None has appeared on behalf of petitioner while Shri Vinay Shankar, learned counsel for the respondents is present. This captioned writ petition has been filed by the petitioner interalia praying the following reliefs :- "(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus thereby commanding and directing the opposite parties to restore/ defreeze the account of the petitioner bearing Account No.383501000000692 Indian Overseas Bank, Branch - Telibagh, Lucknow forthwith and permit the petitioner to run/ operate the said account, in the interest of justice. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to award damages for the hardship and loss of reputation that has been caused to the petitioner by the action of the opposite parties. " Shri Vinay Shankar, learned counsel for the respondents at the very outset submitted that the petitioner had sent an e-mail to the Bank that his grievance had already been redressed and he is fully satisfied in the matter. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the Bank no further 2 WRIC No. 9163 of 2025 consideration in the matter is required, accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
