Judgment
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
This writ petition has been filed seeking following relief :- "Issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of Mandamus, commanding Respondent No. 2, /Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sagdi, District Azamgarh, to decide the recall application dated 19.07.2002, (Computerized Case No. pending in Case No. 94/2001-2002 T200215060700003), titled Dawar and others vs. Ram Awadh and others, under Section 229-B of the U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950, expeditiously within a stipulated time frame as may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court, in accordance with law, in the interest of justice. "
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the above-mentioned recall application is pending consideration since 2002 and the same has not been decided till date. Learned counsel prayed that the same may be decided, expeditiously.
Since the above-mentioned recall application is pending, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending.
