Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.G.A for the State and perused the record. This petition under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking direction to the court concerned to decide the Case No. 857 of 2003 (State Vs. Chandan Singh) arising out of Case Crime/F.I.R. No. 23 of 2003, under Section 3 read with section 82 of the U.P. Moving Picture Regulation Act, Section 7 of the Cinematography Act, 1952, Section 6 of the Copyright Act, 1957 and Section 292 IPC, Police Station Kotwali Sahar, District Mirzapur, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, District Mirzapur within a stipulated time or in a time frame. Considering the fact that the trial has remained pending since long time. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the aforesaid case, as expeditiously as possible, without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment.
