Judgment

Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.

This writ petition has been filed seeking following relief :- "To issue writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus to direct the Additional Commissioner (Administration) Kanpur Division Kanpur to decide petitioner stay application dated 11.03.2025 filed along with the memorandum of revision no/875 857 of 2025 bearing Computerized Case No. C202503000000857 (Ashok Kumar and others versus Ramsaran and others) under section 333 of U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950 and also the revision 857 of 2025 bearing Computerized Case No.C202503000000857 (Ashok Kumar and others versus Ramsaran and others) expeditiously within the time which may be specified by this Hon'ble High Court. "

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the above-mentioned revision along with stay application is pending consideration and the same have not been decided till date. Learned counsel prayed that the same may be decided, expeditiously.

Since the above-mentioned revision along with stay application is pending, no useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending.

Operative part

In view of the above, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the stay application, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.

It is expected that the above-mentioned revision itself be decided within next six weeks after ensuring service of notice upon all the respondents and providing opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties provided there is no other legal impediment.
