From the perusal of the record it is revealed that the arbitrator had remuneration as fixed by him under section 31(8) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 had not been paid. As per the letter sent by the arbitrator in all 17 sittings of the arbitral tribunal were held and, therefore, the parties are directed to pay the arrears of the remuneration in equal share within a period of six weeks.
