#4. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:- (I). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari calling for the records and quashing the impugned order dated 31/7/2024 (Annexure No.2) passed by the District Judge, Nainital, whereby the learned Court has issued recovery citation against the petitioner. (II). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari calling for the records and quashing the impugned recovery citation dated 16/4/2025 (Annexure No.2), issued by the Tehsildar, Ramnagar, District-Nainital, for recovering the amount of Rs.7,56,757/- (seven lakhs fifty six thousand seven hundred and fifty seven only) from the petitioner as arrears of land Revenue.

#5. Supplementary affidavit has been filed by the petitioner, which is taken on record. Misc. Application (IA/2/2025) made therefor, is allowed. learned counsel 6. Today, petitioner passed on to this Court order dated 13.09.2025 passed by learned First Additional District Judge, Nainital, National Lok Adalat held on 13.09.2025, which is taken on record.

#7. In said order, it has been stated that the matter has been disposed of on the basis of the compromise entered into between the parties without any undue pressure and on their free will.

#8. In view of the compromise entered into between the parties, the present matter has been settled. Therefore, the recovery citation impugned in the present writ petition is of no bearing, accordingly, the same is quashed.

#9. In view of the above, the present writ petition has rendered infructuous and the same is dismissed as infructuous.
