Applicant- Gangotri Devi, who is in jail in connection with crime No. 01 of 2006, relating to offence punishable under Sections 304-B, 498-A of I.P.C. and under Section 3/4 Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, Patwari Area- Banlekh, District- Bageshwar, has sought her release on bail. It is argued that the allegations relating to demand of dowry are vague and general in nature. Applicant is a woman. She is mother-in-law of the deceased. There are common allegations against all the accused. Considering that the applicant is a woman, this Court is of the view that in the above circumstances, she deserves bail. Let the applicant Smt. Gangotri Devi be released on bail on executing personal bond and on furnishing two sureties, each of the like amount to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bageshwar. (Prafulla C.
