By way of this petition, the petitioners have prayed that the ACJM-II, Dehradun may be directed to decide the proceedings of Case No.286 of 2007, Richa Tandon & others Vs. Manish Tandon and others, under the Domestic Violence Act, 2005, pending before expeditiously. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the entire material in file. Learned counsel for the petitioner argued that the above-said case was instituted in the trial court on
7.11.2007 and since then the said case could not be decided till today even after a lapse of two years. The prayer seems to be innocuous and deserves to be accepted. After considering entire circumstances of the case, as well as after considering the argument advanced by the counsel for the petitioners, I am of the view that the court below should be directed to decide the case expeditiously. For the reasons as aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the A.C.J.M.-II, Dehradun to decide the proceedings of Case No.286 of 2007 Richa Tandon & Others Vs.
