The petitioners in person along with their counsel, Mr. Ajay Pal Singh Rehan, Advocate. **** SABINA, J. Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 4 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondent Nos. 5 and 6. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 19.11.2012. Certificate (Annexure P-5) in this regard has been issued by Durga Mandir, Sector 27, Chandigarh. Photographs of marriage ceremony are annexed as Annexure P-4. He has further submitted that the petitioners have moved a representation to Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot (Annexure P-6) but no action has been taken so far. Crl. Misc. No.M- 36747 of 2012 (O&M) -2- Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, Senior Superintendent of Police, Pathankot-respondent No.2 is directed to look into the representation moved by the petitioners (Annexure P-6) and if required, necessary protection be provided to them.
