CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE S.S. SARON HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE NAVITA SINGH Present: Ms. Divya Godara, Advocate for the appellant. Mr. D.S.Pheruman, Advocate for the respondent. S.S. SARON, J. Satnam Singh-respondent filed a petition for dissolution of the marriage between the parties by a decree of divorce in terms of Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (Act-for short). The marriage between the parties was solemnized according to Sikh rites and ceremonies at Amritsar in the month of October, 1994. The parties cohabited as husband and wife but they had no issue from the marriage. On account of matrimonial disputes between the parties, the respondent-husband filed a petition seeking dissolution of marriage between the parties by a decree of divorce. The petition of the respondent was allowed by the learned District Judge, Amritsar vide his judgment and decree dated 04.09.2003. Aggrieved against the same, the appellant-wife filed the present appeal which was admitted on 19.07.2003. Learned counsel for the parties have informed that in Amit Kaundal 2014.02.10 16:27 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh fact both the parties have since remarried. Therefore, learned FAO No.M-210 of 2003 (O&M) -2- counsel for the appellant prays that she may be allowed to withdraw the appeal. The learned counsel for the respondent has no objection to the same.
