Mr.Sukhvinder Singh Nara, Sr. DAG, Haryana. *** KANWALJIT SINGH AHLUWALIA, J. (ORAL) Petitioner-husband has approached this Court with a prayer that FIR No.07 dated 7.1.2009 registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Bhiwani under Section 31 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 be quashed. Ms.Gagan Puri, Advocate appearing for the petitioner-husband states that during the pendency of this petition, a compromise has been arrived at between the parties and a lump sum amount of Rs.5,50,000/- has been paid to the aggrieved respondent No.2-wife. In these circumstances, the trial Court is directed to verify the factum of compromise and in case the trial Court comes to the conclusion Crl. Misc. No.M-24948 of 2009 [2] that a compromise has been arrived at between the parties, the proceedings against the petitioner-husband shall be dropped.
