Petitioners in person with Mr. Abnash Singh, Advocate. **** SABINA, J. Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondents No. 2 to 5 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondents No. 6 to 11. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 12.7.2012. Certificate (Annexure P-1) in this regard has been issued by Tiwana Kalan Gurudwara at Jalalabad, District Fazilka. Photographs of marriage ceremony are annexed as Annexure P-2. He has further submitted that the petitioners have moved a representation to Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur and Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka (Annexure P-6) but no action has been taken so far. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, Senior Superintendent of Police, Fazilka-respondent No.2 is directed to look into the representation moved by petitioners (Annexure P-6) and if required, necessary protection be provided to them.
