Pursuant to the order dated 19.0 Pur , 19.02.2025 passed by this Court, learned State c tate counsel has filed a short repl t reply by way of affidavit dated

24.02.2025 for for and on behalf of respondent N , and ent No.5, in course of hearing, and the same is take is taken on record. He submits that, i f, the , in terms of para-8 thereof, the present writ pet rit petition has become infructuous.

That in this regard, it is sub 8. members of the Punjab Municip submitted that the elections of the nicipal Councils in the State of 2 1 of 2 CWP-4762-2025 (O&M) Punjab, are being conducted in a free, fair and impartial manner. The remaining contents that entire Govt. Machinery is working to get the candidates of Aam Aadmy Party (AAP) elected by adopting illegal means and unfair practice, are wrong and hence vehemently denied. It is submitted that the elections of the members of the Punjab Municipal Councils in the State of Punjab, are being conducted in a free, fair, impartial manner and as per the schedule and even the process from the date of nomination till counting of votes is being video graphed as per the instructions of the State Election Commission, Punjab. There is no Government of Punjab, as has been alleged by the petitioners.

Faced with the situation, learned counsel for the petitioner also submits that this petition has become infructuous.
