The petitioners in person along with their counsel, Mr.R.S.Bains, Advocate. **** SABINA, J. Meenu Verma and Sukhbir Singh-petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for issuance of directions to official respondents to protect their life and liberty from the hands of private respondents. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 18.6.2010. Certificate (Annexure P-3/T) in this regard has been issued by Arya Samaj Mandir, Sector 22-A, Chandigarh . He has further submitted that the petitioners have moved a representation to Superintendent of Police, Kaithal (Annexure P-5) but no action has been taken so far. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits Crl. Misc. No.M-18408 of 2010 (O&M) -2- of the case, Superintendent of Police, Kaithall-respondent No.2 is directed to look into the representation made by the petitioners (Annexure P-5) and if required, necessary protection be provided to them.
