(ORAL) ***** Petition herein, inter alia, is for Pet for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus mus directing official respondents to h t and nts to hold elections of President and Vice President o ident of Municipal Council Mullanpur lanpur Dakha.
At the outset, learned counsel for At l for the petitioners submits that qua their grievance vance, the petitioners have moved 2025 oved a representation 16.01.2025 (Annexure P-15 15), but the same has not been a been adverted to by the respondents till date.

Without commenting on merits of the case and considering the relief sought for herein, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider aforesaid pending representation of the petitioners and pass an appropriate reasoned order, keeping in mind the mandate of the Constitution, and immediately take necessary steps for issuance of notification regarding date for election for the posts in question, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 02 weeks from the date of receipt of copy/ production of this order.
