Judgment
#2. This writ petition has been filed seeking the quashing of the First Information Report dated 21.12.2025 registered as Case Crime No. 458 of 2025, under Sections 3, 5A, 8 of U.P. Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955 and Section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, Police Station - Jamania, District - Ghazipur.
#3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is wholly innocent and has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is next submitted that only a cow along with its progeny are said to have been recovered from a Bolero. It is further submitted that no slaughtering instrument has been recovered and as such, the impugned F.I.R. qua the petitioner is liable to be quashed.
