Judgment

1.

Heard Mr. Raghubir Singh, learned counsel for the applicants, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the record.

2.

Learned counsel for the applicants submits that the applicant informant have reconciled their differences and a compromise has been entered between them. The original compromise deed has been filed before the Trial Court and a certified copy of compromise deed dated 09.12.2024 has been annexed as Annexure No. 3 to this application. Therefore, no useful purpose would be served in continuing the proceedings before the Trial Court and the same is not only sheer wastage of time of the Court, but also abuse of process of law.

4.

Learned A.G.A. submits that it is the Trial Court which has to verify the fact as to whether the parties have entered into a compromise.

5.

Both the parties are directed to appear before the court concerned within three weeks from today for verification of compromise and the court concerned is directed to verify the same.

6.

In case, the same is verified, the Trial Court is directed to send a report to this Court with regard to verification of compromise, along with a copy of verification order and 2 NA528 No. 36661 of 2025 verified compromise, before the next date fixed.

7.

List this case on 22.07.2026.

8.

Till then, interim order, if any, stands extended. May 12, 2026 Subham (Sanjiv Kumar,J.)
