This application has been filed challenging the Charge-Sheet No. 1 of 2023 dated 15.09.2023 as well as summoning/cognizance order dated
27.10.2023 (arising out of Case Crime No. 22 of 2022) and further proceedings of Criminal Case No. 8053 of 2023 (State vs. Ravi Shankar), under Sections 420, 504, 506, 467, 468, 471 of I.P.C., Police Station- Nandgram, District- Ghaziabad, pending in the court of Additional Civil Judge (S.D.), Court No.-6, Ghaziabad.
It is jointly stated that dispute has been amicably settled between the parties in terms of the written compromise dated 07.04.2025, the same is on record and it has been verified on 10.07.2025 by the court concerned. The said order is appended at page no. 7 of the supplementary affidavit.
Considering the amicable settlement of dispute between the parties and nature of allegations and in view of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Gian Singh vs. State of Punjab and another; (2012) 10 SCC 303 and Nikhil Merchant vs. Central Bureau of Investigation and another; (2008) 9 SCC 677, the application deserves to be allowed.
Accordingly, the application is allowed. 2 NA528 No. 16766 of 2025
