The present contempt application has been filed pleading willful disobedience of the order dated 1.5.2023 passed by this Court in Writ B No.1243 of 2023. From the averments made in the affidavit filed in support of the Contempt Application, no cause of action for instituting proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 exists. The act of the opposite party, if the allegations of the applicant are accepted, may be illegal but do not amount to any disobedience of the order passed by this Court. It is not a case to institute proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. The application is dismissed. The applicant may exercise any other remedy available to him in law.
