Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for State.
It is the grievance of the Petitioner that in spite of approaching the IIC with a written complaint ex-facie making out a cognizable case, no FIR is registered.
Considering the submissions of the counsel for the Parties, this Court directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Puri, Opposite Party No.2, to take a decision on the complaint of the Petitioner at Annexure-2 in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1978 and the law laid down by the Apex Court in the case of Lalita Kumari vs. Government of U.P. & others, AIR 2014 SC 187, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along with copy of the CRLMP.
If in the meantime, the grievance of the Petitioner has been redressed, the Petitioner shall be intimated the result thereof. Accordingly, the CRLMP stands disposed of. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted as per the
