#1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
#2. In filing the present Writ Petition, the Petitioners have challenged impugned order dated 27.07.2026/ Annexure-4 passed by the Executive Officer, Baripada Municipality. Apart from the above, the Petitioners have also sought for a direction from this Court to the Chairperson, Baripada Municipal Council/ Opposite Party No.3 and the Executive Officer, Baripada Municipality/ Opposite Party No.4 for regularizing the shop rooms allotted in their favour so also in favour of the proforma Opposite Signature Not Verified Parties in Block-B and C.

At the outset, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that though the Petitioners on the selfsame issue have already submitted a representation dated 31.07.2026/ Annexure-5 before the Executive Officer, Baripada Municipality, Baripada, no decision has been taken on the said representation till today.

In such view of the matter, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the Executive Officer, Baripada Municipality, Baripada representation at the instance of the Petitioners vide Annexure-5 and pass a lawful order in the matter within a period of fifteen working days from the date of presentation of an authenticated copy of this order. Till a decision on the representation at the instance of the Petitioners is taken, no coercive action shall be taken against the present Petitioners pursuant to the dispute involved herein.
#6. The Petitioners are directed to present an authenticated copy of this order before the Executive Officer, Baripada Municipality, Baripada within seven working days hence.
#7. This Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
