The prayer of the writ petitioner, who isworking as a Junior Clerk for the last about 20 years, is that hemay be appointed as a Senior Clerk of the second respondentBank, as Junior Clerk is the feeder category for promotion to thecadre of Senior Clerk. One, Kuriyan Kuriyan is on leave and heis working in gulf. The writ petitioner claims that the saidKuriyan Kuriyan, is junior to him. Therefore, the stand of thesecond respondent bank that the writ petitioner has to wait tillthe gulf employee returns to the post of Junior Clerk, cannot beaccepted. That made him to rush to the first respondent. 2.In the above facts situation, I direct the firstrespondent to dispose of Exhibit P4 representation dated W.P.(C) No.33755/2006 (R)218/10/2006, pending with him, within one month from the dateof receipt of the copy of this judgment.
