According to the petitioner, a distance of at least 7.5 meters has to be maintained with a septic tank as per Section 104of the Kerala Panchayath Raj Act, 1994. Reliance is also placed on Sec.30 of the Travancore Cochin Public HealthAct. Though the petitioner has submitted Exts.P1 and P2representations to the first respondent, it is contended that no action has been taken thereon till date. The petitioner therefore seeks the issue of appropriate directions for the consideration of his complaint. 2.I have heard Adv. Vakkom N.Vijayan who appears for the Panchayat also. WP(C).No.22702/2012.23.Since Exts.P1 and P2 are pending before the first respondent, it is only appropriate that they are considered and necessary orders passed in accordance with law. 4. This writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the first respondent to consider the complaint of the petitioner, evidenced herein by Exts.P1 and P2 in accordance with law and to pass appropriate orders thereon as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months of the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
