Case(C) No.919 of 2012 against W.P.(C) No.23853 of 2011 --------------------------------------- Dated this the 19th day of July, 2012 JUDGMENT This contempt case is filed alleging that the respondent herein has wilfully disobeyed the direction issued by this Court in Annexure A judgment in W.P.(C) No.23853 of 2011 regarding payment of interest awarded by the Controlling Authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972. When the contempt case came up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that except as regards petitioners 6 and 11 rest of the petitioners have received the entire amounts due from the Board. Sri.K.S.Anil, learned standing counsel appearing for the Kerala State Electricity Board submitted that payment of interest will be made to petitioners 6 and 11 within one week from today. The said submission is recorded and the contempt case is closed reserving liberty with the petitioners to move this Court to have this contempt case reopened, if as undertaken, the interest is not paid to the petitioners within one week from today.
