O R D E R Application for regular bail. The petitioner is the second accused. He faces allegations in a crime registered for offences punishable under Sections 326 and 307 I.P.C. The alleged incident took place on 29.6.2007. The petitioner surrendered on

17.12.07. The first accused has already been granted bail as per order dt. 19.11.2007 in B.A.No. 7025 of 2007. Investigation is not complete. The petitioner continues in custody from

17.12.2007.

The learned counsel for the petitioner prays, the learned Prosecutor does not oppose the said prayer and I am satisfied that the petitioner can now be granted regular bail on identical conditions as were imposed on the first accused as per the order referred above.

In the result: 1) This application is allowed. B.A.No. 6 of 2008 2 2) The petitioner shall be released on bail on the following terms and conditions.

(a) The petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) with two solvent sureties each for the like sum to be satisfaction of the learned Magistrate.

(b) He shall make himself available for interrogation before the Investigating Officer on all Mondays and Fridays between 10 a.m. and 12 noon for a period of three months and thereafter as and when directed by the Investigating Officer in writing to do so. (R. BASANT) Judge
