Respondents This Writ Petition is filed under Articles 226 & 227 of the Constitution of India praying to quash vide Annex.B & A dated 18.6.97 and 3.6.96 by R—3 and 2 respectively. This Writ Petition is coming on for orders this day, the Court made the following The petitioner-employer challenges orders of the 2nd respondent-Controlling Authority the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 and the 3rd respondent-Appellate Authority as at Annexureg-’A’ & ‘8’, the 1st respondent-employee directed to be paid gratuity of Rs.28,463/-.

There is no dispute as to the 23 years of service that the 1st respondent has put in and as to the wages, Having regard to these two relevant factors, the authorities have 2dkLr1y computed the gratuity payable to the tat repsondent and there is no infirmity in the two orders i,e, the order of 2nd respondent confirmed 3rd respondent-Appellate Authority
