JUSTICE VINOD CHATTERJI KOUL, JUDGE ORDER Through the medium of petition on hand, the petitioner seeks a direction respective trial Courts to dispose of the cases, namely ‘Maintenance/108/2021 titled as Shee\tal Bhagat and another vs. Jewel Arya’ pending disposal before the Court of Additional Family Court, Jammu and ‘Domestic Violence Act/2893/2019 titled Sheetal Bhagat vs. Jewel Aryaji and others’filed under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 pending disposal before the Court of Forest Magistrate (JMIC), Jammu. The prayer made in the petition is innocuous one, therefore, the petition is disposed of along with connected application(s), if any, directing the trial Courts aforesaid to conclude the trial of the cases expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date, copy of this order is served upon them. The trial Courts shall ensure expeditious disposal of the aforesaid cases by scheduling the cases fortnightly. It is also directed that the trial courts shall desist from adjourning the cases unnecessarily. In the event, the trial of the cases aforesaid is not concluded expeditiously, the trial courts may seek extension of time. Disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
