16.05.2024, passed by the learned Single Judge, whereby the detention order No. Div. Com-K/73/2023 dated 31.05.2023 was quashed, and it was directed that the petitioner be released from the custody. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the detention order was executed on 02.06.2023, and the detention period has already expired. Furthermore, the petitioner has already been released from custody, pursuant to the order dated 16.05.2024. In view of the fact that the detention period has expired and the petitioner has already been released from custody, there remains nothing for adjudication in the present appeal. In view of the above, the appeal has rendered infructuous, and is, accordingly, dismissed along with CM(s).
